Windows media player album art not updating

Cheers, Tara I added to albums from my flash drive to there artist folders on the server.

The first album was found correctly and is found in the library. I can browse to the missing album and play it but it isn't in the library with the rest of the artists music. The album did come in at first but was missing 3 songs.

It does this via the Internet and is usually the best method to tag your music.

Sometimes however hard you try, Microsoft's media player won't be able to locate the right artwork for some of your music albums.

Occasionaly i would have hit the update media info button.

Now after i find the art it does not go to the folder.

And, on some occasions, there can be so many irrelevant results that you end up giving up altogether.

It is a real pain to get media player to update the library.

If you want to edit your songs' MP3 files to contain the metadata for the thumbnail image, you can use a couple of different MP3 tag editors.

A few days a go i restored one of my computers and then updated to Windows Media Player 11... I have all my music on an external 500GB Western Digital which is about 300GB full.

This folder is set to the default save location in my Windows 7 machine\u0027s music library.

I know with older versions of media player you could force a refresh of the library but i can\u0027t seem to find it in 12.

Now here I am with a recently new win 7 machine, with personally updated codecs and integration into the shell for selectct extensions. Though I came across my first blip since then and decided to check it out on forum posts.
