Outlook 2016 inbox not updating
If you face such a problem, and maybe see a message Problem connecting to Server, this is what you could repair your Outlook account. When the Account Settings open, select the email account which is not syncing and then click on the Repair button. Check your settings and fields and then click Next.
Outlook will start the process to repair the Outlook account.
Had our emails migrated over from a local exchange to office 365 using skykick.
Office 365 account has read and manage (plus send email from and on behalf) permissions to another mailbox.
Now you will find list of all the folders along with Inbox Step 4: Expand Inbox to get all folders under Inbox Step 5: Check the folders that you want to have automatically and set them either to Full or Headers by clicking on None on the right side Step 6: Exit from Outlook 2010 and re-open it to verify results Note: If these settings are already enabled in Outlook 2010 and the same problem persists, then remove and re-add Outlook 2010 account and check the result.
In case this method is not succeeded, you might have configured PST file improperly in Outlook 2010.

After one of my recent Windows Updates, Microsoft Outlook has stopped syncing the emails and was not sending, receiving, refreshing or downloading any new email.
While my other accounts were syncing, one Hotmail email account had stopped syncing. Now under Info, click on Account Settings and open the settings for the affected account.
I've setup the office 365 account in outlook 2016 using autodiscover which all works ok.
The only issue is that in cached mode the secondary mailbox that it has permissions to view shows all it's folders but when clicking on the folders it shows no content.
